during the take off scene in the short documentary Apollo 11 the directors showcase the different reactions of the crowd using close up shots. This lets us see genuine reactions from the spectators in the crowd. The directors also used diegetic and non-diegetic sound to add dramatic build up signifiant moments such as the sound of a heart beat when the rocket is about to take off, this is linked to the racing heart beats of the astronauts.
